Review: Tea For Two by Shelley Munro

Sam Norville may not believe in love at first sight, but it is definitely lust at first sight when he sees the mystery woman across the bar. After spending an unforgettable night with the woman known only as Helen, he can’t get her off his mind and starts to wonder about the family legacy (or curse) of love at first sight. Could Helen be the woman for him? But if she is, why is he so attracted to Harriet, the tea leaf reader?

It started off harmless enough. Hayley Williams didn’t want to spend her birthday alone and when she was approached by playboy Sam Norville, the alcohol and her inner bad girl wouldn’t let her say no. Giving a fake name and sneaking away the next morning should have been the end of it. Instead, she bumps into him while reading tea leaves in her gypsy persona and the attraction is still there, an attraction that Sam intends to pursue.  Add a little alcohol and the inner bad girl and you can guess what happens. Hayley, Helen, Harriet…Whatever name she goes by, she has a problem.

As I have come to expect of any book written by Shelley Munro, Tea For Two is hot. The attraction between Hayley and Sam practically smokes, while the vulnerability of both characters makes it a very touching story.  It was exactly what I needed to make me forget this winter weather. Definitely a recommended read!
